1978 Mustang II. If you've got a wrecked or rusted Mustang II and want a perfect body here's your chance. Completely disassembled for a restoration 10 years ago but never finished. Body was taken down to bare metal then primed. Absolutely no rust or dents was in enclosed storage. Comes with 8 boxes of parts that were removed from the car. Unknown if everything is there. Unknown if this is a King Cobra or Mach 1 as the buck tag is missing and the door VIN tag was removed for the restoration. Was a factory ac car and comes with all those parts. I removed the fenders to locate the hidden VIN its 8F175974. the 3rd and 4th digits (03 or 05) are not stamped into the plate so I cant tell what model this is.I ran an NCIC using both the missing "03" and "05" numbers comes back clean. No title Bill of Sale only. This was a 5.0 4 speed car but those are missing, the clutch pedals and clutch cable are included. This was pretty much the top of the line pick up in it's day with working power windows, etc. It runs & drives great and doesn't need anything as far as mechanical repairs as far as I can determine. It should drive home anywhere as far as I can tell. It looks fairly good, but does have faded paint and various cosmetic blemishes all over. With that paint & body work with its rare short wide bed, it'd be one good looking truck. You're buying the truck as it was brought to us. No clean, detail, etc. has been done.
