1972 Mercury comet. I purchased the car with intent of building the car as a nice driver. Since purchasing the car i have acquired a ford fairlane that has been of much more interest to me and i have shifted all of my attention towards it. The car runs and drives and is in fair shape. it has the front and rear seat. the floor of the car needs some attention but is no worse than some of the mustangs that i have seen over the years that ended up being great cars. The car has a strong sounding 302 with a good shifting c-4. We have driven it in the yard but it has no brakes so it hasn't gone far. the car is a great project and could make a nice little drag or street car. The car is currently in Williston North Dakota where i am working, and i live in western Montana. I may be able to help with delivery of the car if you let me know your needs I know of a guy that may have all the glass and many extra parts that he may part with. Sorry for this delay but Ebay did not like some of my wording in my previous ad and kicked it off. 1992 FORD MUSTANG GT FOX BODY 23,296 ORIGINAL MILES PLEASE READ THE STORY BELOW. RACE CAR BODY??? RESTORE??? PARTS CAR??? MISSOURI SALVAGE TITLE IN MY NAME. Here is a unique automobile for sale. This poor old pony truly has 23296 miles. It has not been licensed since January of 1994. When it was two years old it was stolen in Houston Texas. It was taken to a chop shop where they removed the hood, front fenders, passenger seat and driver side door. It was recovered before before any permanent damage was done. The insurance company totaled it, paid off the owner and took ownership of the car with a salvage title. It went to the Underwriters Salvage Yard in Humble Texas where is sat until April 20th 1994. It was bought by a young man and his father who had plans to restore it, since it only had 23296 miles. They bought another body from another salvage yard and put all the missing sheet metal back on it. They started restoring the body and was getting it ready for a repaint, but they got into some kind of family squabble and both washed their hands of the project. This car sat in a climate controlled boat dealership garage for 17 years. The father died and the son had no interest in restarting the project, so there she sat, collecting dust. The now elderly mother decided to sell all the boats, jet skis, cars, and parts....I bought the Mustang. I have all the insurance, towing, salvage yard and other documentation to prove this story and the 23296 miles. I bought it for the engine & transmission for my current project. It is now time for someone else to own this great little car. I will attempt to describe it as clearly as I can, but feel free to ask questions. What you get...... Up for sale is a 1999 Ford Explorer with NO reserve price!!! It starts right up and runs great. The only reason for selling is, that I won't be needing a car. Here are details about the car Details: 1- Its 1999 Ford Explorer XLS, it has V6 engine. 2- I bought this in Oct 2005, with around 119k miles. It now has 161, 584 miles. It has been a trustworthy car. 3- I did carfax report when I bought the car. Carfax showed it had a clean history and it has never been involved in an accident. It does have a clear title. But ebay Autocheck shows that it was involved in an accident in Nov/2002, so I am not sure but I do want to present all the facts. Also when I bought the car in Oct/05, it had 119,xxx miles but Autocheck shows 130k miles at Oct/2005. 4 - Its been insured thru GEICO, since Oct/2005. 5- The car was recently driven from Michigan to Texas. I did take it to Texas state inspection facility and it has passed the inspection. We took it for TX registration the same day on 8/27/2010, and got it registered in Texas. I have the Texas plates, receipt, tabs and registration docs. Gas caps on vehicles 2-24 model years old. 4- It has a roof rack. ----------------- The good: 1- This SUV now has upgraded infinity speakers ($280), one Alpine MRP-F240 for the speakers ($240), a 1 Farad capacitor (Monster and $175 I think), one MTX amp for sub ($167 new off ebay), 2 JL audio 10 inch subs, installed in carpeted box, a 7" DVD mp3 divx player. The DVD player screen is flawless. The dvd player has 7 inch screen, and it could play every format that I knew of, DVD, CD, mp3, divx, etc, it also has sd card slot and mini usb connection. DVD player's cost was $400, also bought 2 JL Audio 10 inch subs for $267, $120 for the carpeted box, paid $175 for professional installation. 2- The car has upgraded security alarm system. You will get one remote and one physical key. So the car has over $2000 in upgraded equipment. 3- With professionally installed awesome decals. You can remove those easily if you want. 4- I also have one vent stand for my phone/gps in driver-left-side-vent, I can remove it if you want. 5- AC is super cool, awesome for TX weather (Texas is hot). 6- A new battery, 4 new tires were put on and full service was done less than 6000 miles ago. With Firestone lifetime tire alignment service, which I think is transferable but please check with your local firestone. There is also a spare tire. -------------------- The bad: 1- There is one super small stone mark on the front windshield. Its very small, and doesn't affect driving. It happened sometime in 2006. I have painted "a pointed arrow" towards it in the first pic, its a very small mark, so its difficult to highlight. 2- There is problem with 2 lights on the dashboard for last 3 years, parking brake light and check engine light. They both stay on most of the times. My mechanic has said that there is no problem with the car. You can have it checked out by your mechanic. 3- Brake pad may need replacing soon. 4- Sometimes the driver door lock doesn't open by remote, you would have to open the lock manually using key or from inside from passenger seat. ------------------- I've changed oil every 3k miles and have used only premium gas (92 - 93 octane, I am not sure if that matters) in last 5 years, since I've owned it. I would not lie and say its like new. Its not. Its a 1999 model but overall, its a good used car. When it was driven from Michigan to Texas, around 1400 miles. We didn't expect any problems with the car on this trip and it didn't present any problems. I'm not asking much and it is well worth the price for someone who wants this rare car. 1990 Ford Probe GT Was a project of mine but I don't have time to fix it. Engine and turbo is bad. All it needs is the turbo engine replaced or rebuilt and will be a great car. I think oil was getting into one cylinder and turbo. Also needs a heater/ac control unit which can be found on ebay for about 30 dollars. I've got for sale a 1998 White Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It is a decent looking car and with a little bit of work would be very nice. The car has 199,700 miles and needs a motor. The motor does still run, but has a horrible rod knock. I drove this car across town when i moved and it does run and drive, but is not going to last much longer. To be usable the car needs a motor and front corner lights. To make the car look real nice it would need a driver front door, driver front fender, the bezel around the grill/headlights, and front and rear bumper covers. The interior in the car is in above average condition for a police intercepter. Dark blue interior with carpet and cloth seats. Power windows/locks/mirrors and cruise control. No radio with car. Previous owner had a sound system in it, so there is a amp power wire run to the trunk and speaker cables running from the radio back to the trunk also. The headliner has some stains and could be replaced to be as nice as the rest of the interior, but is not horrible. Wheels and tires are in good condition. I bought this car to fix up and drive, but just don't have money to finish the car right now. This is a used 12 year old car, so expect normal wear and tear from it's age, but with a little time and money this could be a nice car again. Or use it for parts, whatever you would like. I also want to say that i bought this car from a guy in Oklahoma and he did not have a title for the car. He gave me the lien release and his bill of sale, he said with all paperwork he gave me i would be able to get a title for the car, but i have not tried to get one for it. So i will give you all paperwork i have and the phone number for the guy i bought it from. So if he is correct a title can be obtained for the car, but technically speaking i am selling this car without a title, but will give you a bill of sale. I have set my reserve at $800 for the car, that is what i paid for the car. I bought this car to fix up and drive but don't have any money to put into it and have lost interest in the project.
