Ford Coupe Ford Maverick / Mercury Comet For Sale
1972 Mercury comet. I purchased the car with intent of building the car as a nice driver. Since purchasing the car i have acquired a ford fairlane that has been of much more interest to me and i have shifted all of my attention towards it. The car runs and drives and is in fair shape. it has the front and rear seat. the floor of the car needs some attention but is no worse than some of the mustangs that i have seen over the years that ended up being great cars. The car has a strong sounding 302 with a good shifting c-4. We have driven it in the yard but it has no brakes so it hasn't gone far. the car is a great project and could make a nice little drag or street car. The car is currently in Williston North Dakota where i am working, and i live in western Montana. SEPT-2nd. i just finished putting the front brakes back together and setting the wheel bearing tension and was curious. the car seemed to have a mis so a friend and me began to mess with it a little. it ended up having a plug wire on wrong and the carb was way out of tune. for a stock 2v 302 and a automatic...............
